Riddle page

There are a few stories I want to talk to you about. They describe a situation. You have to find out what is going on, that's all. You can ask me questions about the stories, and I will answer you yes or no. When you finally know what's happened, you will be mentioned in the Hall of Fame.
One thing: don't be too upset with the subject of death and severe accidents some of the riddles are dealing with. When you are, you'd better stop reading now.

1 The caravan

In a caravan lies a human body. Dead.

2 On the road

On a road, you found a dead body. Beside the body, there's a bag.

3 The desert

In the desert, a man is hanging on a pole, 20 m above the ground, with no ladder.

4 The saloon

In the Wild-West, a man enters a saloon. He orders a glass of water. The bartender grabs his gun, shoots, and the customer leaves the saloon, content.

5 The telephone box

In a telephone box, there's a dead body lying on the floor.

6 - 10th floor

A woman lives on the 10th floor. When she arrives home on a sunny day, she takes the elevator to the 8th floor, and walks the last two stairs. On rainy days, however, she takes the elevator to the 10th floor.

7 The train

Had he been sitting in the smoker's compartment, he would still be alive...

8 Romeo and Juliette

Romeo and Juliette are on the floor. Dead.

9 Hotel

A man stops in front of a hotel, and becomes bankrupt.

10 Straw

A man is lying in a field. Naked. And dead. In his hand, he holds a piece of straw.

11 Scuba diving

In a dried pool, a scuba diver lies on the bottom. Dead.

12 In a hurry

In a hurry he left his house. Had he been more aware, he would have left the house via the back door, and he would still have been alive.

13 Mail!

The postman hands John a package. That afternoon, John cuts of his hand.

14 Albatross

He orders a roll with albatross meat. After the first bite he commits suicide.
